Today was a lovely, warm sunny day – too good to waste. There are no recreational facilities within a long walk of home, so the five of us (the whole pack) jumped in the car and took a drive to where some green grass can still be found. It’s a sore point with me, [...] I am a dog, I am a dock, I am a duck. Pepper went for his second swim yesterday, the first having been on lead next to mum down at the lake and a few previous knee deep splashes. This was his first time off lead. LUCKILY I wasn’t in a hurry. He didn’t [...] A long day outside playing, with several curious visitors. [...] Naturally, as soon as Jacqui left, the stark and unpredictable sunshine disappeared behind predictable and soft clouds. Perfect weather for photography. Bah. Playtime! Everyone got the idea right away, and had a turn on the Fun New Things That Don’t Bite Back. Over the next few days, they will be encouraged to roam around [...] |
