Pepper celebrated his first birthday by sharing a cake (chicken and turkey meatloaf variety) with his big sister Rosie. Weighing in (roughly) on his birthday at 18kg, it is just as well he no longer lies on the glass outdoor table! Pepper provided moral support to Rosie today as she gained her third CCD pass [...] It hardly seems like it, but it’s been a full year since Heather and her brothers entered this world, in the wee small hours of the 21st of June 2009. I managed to separate her from her Partner in Grime, Shadow, for just long enough to get her clean and off to a faraway [...] Not so successful this time; Gemma remembered what the grounds were like, and wasn’t very enthusiastic about running – she surprised even me, having made allowances for her being slow, so I was wrong-footed and too far ahead on quite a few occasions. Top of Pepper’s list was to see some photos of his siblings! Rosie has asked for bigger teeth… [...] I am a dog, I am a dock, I am a duck. Pepper went for his second swim yesterday, the first having been on lead next to mum down at the lake and a few previous knee deep splashes. This was his first time off lead. LUCKILY I wasn’t in a hurry. She worked brilliantly, except for two “substantial” deductions (one in the Scent Discrim for not completing the ‘finish’ – she got all three articles though!)
