Heather has been upsetting the applecart at feeding time. Whereas everyone has been happy to eat their own food up until now, mealtimes have now become “musical dishes!” Heather first eats the best parts of her own, then tries raiding everyone else’s – finding that the identical kibble in Shadow’s identical bowl tastes so [...] There’s nothing like a bit of competition to whet the appetite! Heather’s appetite has gone the way Gemma’s did (but Shadow’s never did.) Fickle. She’ll lightly graze on the kibble that’s offered (unless she’s really hungry) unless it’s spiced up with some meat, yoghurt, or something else tasty. …or unless someone else is eating [...] Gemma likes an occasional tin of sardines in oil. It helps keep her coat soft and shiny, and being full of Omega 3 is good for her brain too. She’s not alone. Shadow and Walker did the same disappearing act on their dinner tonight.
