It’s sneaking up on us – the kids are looking less like defenseless babies and more like pint-sized Border Collies! Full of fun and frolic, they’re now spending most of the day outside romping around and getting up to all kinds of minor mischief, having the time of their lives. There is nothing really [...] It has been an incident-packed few days. Sigh! I used to refer to Gemma as Miss Adventure because she loved to explore… but Shadow had quite an adventure this weekend. Gemma’s exploits pale into insignificance by comparison. Shadow has outgrown her puppy collar, and now has a new intermediate one that should last for [...] The rain today put a bit of a dampener (sorry!) on our plans. Sooty and Shadow still spent over half the day outside cavorting in the yard, interacting with visitors that came and went. Gem, Gill (and her dogs) and I went for a long walk in the afternoon – the longest Gem has [...] Anyone who’s trained a dog to Utility (UD) level knows it’s damned hard to find anyone to work with you on a consistent basis.
