Heather stopped fussing within a few minutes of “lights-out” and was quiet until well after 8am. Her bouts in the morning were much shorter, the gaps between longer. She’s ‘getting it.’ She even spent about half-an-hour stretched out on my lap before bed, completely relaxed. Simple answer: the yard the girls live in is almost entirely clay and mud, in the process of re-landscaping. They love playing “king of the castle” on the mounds of dirt and stones. They’re filthy The fence is up, the gate [...] The pups are now 8 weeks old, and most of them are going to new homes in a day or so [...] Wonderful to see the detail in the shadows while still seeing the texture in their collars for a change! [...] The pups had a day out of the house today, visiting Auntie Jacqui’s for a photoshoot and the vet for a 6-week healthcheck and C4 vaccination. If only they were as compliant in the morning as they were at the vets! [...] Plants beware! Puppy alert! Oh well, I didn’t want that fruit tree anyway.
