Gemma breaks through the UD barrier!

The morning trial was going very well, right up to the troublesome “distance sit” in the Signals exercise.  She stood crooked, and was distracted by something to her left.  She did the “down” part, but ignored the “Sit” cue, and thus failed the entire trial.

A return to form?

Last week in practice, Gemma did what would have been a near-perfect score in UD practice.   This was with another person’s scent on the decoy articles, but noone and no dogs within 50m of the ring.

BDOC Agility/Jumping Trial

Three chances; three bombs.

Novice Jumping: Gemma dropped the second bar on the first (spread) jump. Open Jumping:  did the “exclusion zone” beautifully, dropped a bar, but did good weaving on the RHS Novice Agility:  Did good work elsewhere, but bombed the weaving on the LHS!
