Finally found a reasonably priced camera of decent quality (a Canon EOS 30D). [...] The pups had a day out of the house today, visiting Auntie Jacqui’s for a photoshoot and the vet for a 6-week healthcheck and C4 vaccination. I’ve always said that the most valuable thing in my yard was Gemma. Multiply that by six. The camera I’m after was finally announced this afternoon – the Canon EOS 5D mk2. Without manual. It has some pretty exotic ideas about what is ‘logical,’ and seems to go out of its way to make it hard to access the features I know/knew it had.
